What You Need
A space to host, suitable to seat your participants for a dinner. No specialty setting needed, we can go anywhere!
Sushi By Simon can also provide a venue for an additional fee.
After the class, here is everything you'll need to continue making sushi at home:
Materials:
- sushi rolling mat (included with our classes, yours to keep!)
- sharp, non-serrated knife (ideally 6" or longer)
- cutting board
- cooking pot or rice cooker
- bowl and spoon (ideally, not metal)
Ingredients/ Food to buy
- sushi rice/short grain rice other than arborio, 1-2lbs
- English cucumbers
- avocado
- seasoned rice vinegar
- nori sheets (7-10 pack) OR soy paper if you prefer
optional ingredients: sushi-grade salmon or tuna, mango, peanuts, mock crab stick
optional condiments: soy sauce, pickled ginger, wasabi powder
